Hendersonville has received thumbs up from the Tennessee State Soccer Association. They have relocated to Hendersonville…a move that will bring tournaments, money and families to Hendersonville Tennessee Real Estate.
The TSSA (Tennessee State Soccer Association) plans to hold at least two state tournaments every year in addition to several events from their Olympic Training Program, which will result in elite players from across the state coming to Hendersonville for training.
The TSSA is vying for Hendersonville to host the President’s Cup, a regional tournament that would bring teams from eleven states to this family-oriented community. There would be 122 younger and second-tier teams…all of which would require lodging, meals and a lot of income for Hendersonville. This, obviously, would be a welcome boon to the local economy in 2010.
Hendersonville’s soccer fields could easily accommodate the needs of these soccer players from around the country. But, there are plans for the city to add more soccer fields to the local parks system.
Tennessee United, which is another large soccer organization, will hold an event in Hendersonville later this month. The Adidas Cup of Champions Tournament will be held from September 26-28. The last time this tournament was held in Hendersonville…hotels and motels throughout the county filled to capacity as 171 teams participated.
The director of the Sumner County Convention and Visitors bureau estimated that each of the soccer families would spend around $300 per day in food, lodging and related expenses.
So, it’s easy to see that Hendersonville Tennessee Real Estate will greatly benefit from the TSSA relocation to this great community.
