Web Hosting Company Expands Operations in Los Angeles
Managed web hosting solutions provider ServInt is reportedly expanding its operations in a bid to reach out to more clientele by setting up its first data center in Los Angeles, California. The new data center will be named ServInt LA and will represent a significantly important addition to the company’s existing data centers located in Washington, DC. The existing data center is commonly known as ServInt DC.
The reason behind this move is the company’s confidence of the vast network infrastructure in the Californian city. ServInt can now offer its clientele the option to choose between two of their data centers in terms of availing of diverse server locations.
Reed Caldwell, ServInt Chief Executive Officer and Founder, has reportedly relocated to California to personally supervise the implementation and development of the new data center and other network improvements that will take place in this new location.
Caldwell said in a statement that there’s a growing demand for web-hosting services worldwide which led to their decision to provide their customers more options in terms of their bandwidth use. This also gives the company an edge when it comes to reaching out to international clients who want to get more from their money.
He added that the geographic location of ServInt LA is ideal for customers based in Western United States, Latin America, Asia, Western Canada and Oceania. Customers in Eastern and Midwestern US, Europe, Africa and Eastern Canada can still continue transacting with ServInt DC.
